A 2-minute recording uses 2 AI minutes when the first draft completes. The writing, initial voiceover and first render are one creation step; the initial speech isn’t charged again on top.
For a new image story, the initial allowance follows its scene duration. Review the estimate before generation and your account allowance afterwards.
If you regenerate a passage with 30 seconds of new speech, it uses 0.5 AI minutes. Changing the voice regenerates the affected speech too. Unchanged passages reuse their existing audio.
Saving text alone does not generate speech. The allowance is used when the replacement audio is generated as part of a successful update.
Downloading an existing video again uses 0 AI minutes. Re-rendering with existing speech—for example to change caption styling or use an existing music track—also uses no new AI minutes.
These actions remain subject to reasonable technical rate limits. Unlimited new generation is not part of any plan.
